The Buckinchere Publication is an American publishing house founded by self-publishing horror author B. Lorenzo Buckinchere on August 27, 2024 in San Diego, California.
It serves as the sole copyright holder for his weekly articles, as well as his interconnected horror anthology, The Buckinchere Collection.
In his anthology series, Buckinchere explores some of the darkest motivations of the human psyche and mirrors society through a fictional, often humorous lens, in dialogue-rich works of prose that help break down these concepts for neurodivergent readers, particularly readers with ADHD.
Having ADHD himself, Buckinchere often encountered difficulty maintaining focus while reading lengthy passages of text. To help improve readability, his solution was to write his own books as he wished other books had been written.
He finds that center-aligned dialogue tends to flow more naturally, kind of like a play, and has remained steadfast in maintaining his signature format despite its apparent lack in popularity.
As the mythos of his world transcends its dark origins, it becomes increasingly apparent horror is not merely entertainment, but a mirror through which society reveals its fears, contradictions, and hidden truths.
